Un peu d’Histoire :
Un peu d’Histoire :Le nom de « Valeureux Liégeois » est en fait un chant patriotique créé en 1790 par l’abbé Ramoux, lorsque la Révolution liégeoise était menacée par le retour des troupes autrichiennes venant rétablir l’autorité du prince-évêque César-Constantin-François de Hoensbroeck. Ce chant fut écrit à la demande de Lambert-Joseph de Donceel, commandant des milices liégeoises, qui souhaitait un hymne national « pour expulser des foyers de nos concitoyens les ennemis de la patrie qui ont osé y pénétrer ». Aussi, peu de temps après l’appel fait au patriotisme, on entendit pour la première fois l’Hymne national liégeois.

Le diplôme du « Valeureux Liégeois »
Nous avons voulu commémorer ce patrimoine important de la vie liégeoise, en éditant un diplôme pour les radioamateurs. Pour obtenir ce diplôme, il faut juste remplir quelques critères simples.

Les critères :
Le diplôme du VALEUREUX LIÉGEOIS est délivré pour des QSO réalisés entre les membres de la section UBA-LGE et des radioamateurs du monde entier.
- Toutes les fréquences autorisées et tous les modes sont acceptés sauf les QSO en portable, via Satellite et sur un relais
- Vous pouvez créer un diplôme pour chaque mode différent (FT8, RTTY, PSK, SSB…) et/ou MIXED, augmentant ainsi la chance d’avoir plusieurs diplômes
- Seuls les contacts effectués à partir du 1er janvier 2022 seront pris en compte. Ce diplôme est valable pour tout radioamateur licencié et écouteur (SWL)
- Les candidats doivent fournir la preuve d’avoir contacté et confirmé cinq membres différents de la section UBA-LGE. La station ON5VL (Valeureux Liégeois) vaut pour 2 QSOs
- Un QSO est valable lorsqu’il est confirmé par le correspondant
- Les cartes QSL ne sont PAS requises, mais juste un extrait du callbook
- Pour obtenir ce diplôme « Valeureux Liégeois », il suffit d’envoyer un double de votre log qui mentionne l’indicatif, la date, l’heure, la fréquence et le mode, à l’adresse de contact :

Certificate « Valeureux liegeois »History :
The name « Valeureux Liégeois » is actually a patriotic song created in 1790 by Abbe Ramoux, when the Liège Revolution was threatened by return of the Austrian troops re-establishing the authority of the prince-bishop Cesar Constantine Francis de Hoensbroeck. This song was written at request of Lambert-Joseph de Donceel, commander of Liège militias, who wanted a national anthem « for expel from the homes of our fellow countrymen the enemies of the country who dared to penetrate there. » So, shortly after the appeal to patriotism, the National Anthem of Liege it was heard for the first time.
We wanted commemorate this important heritage of life in Liege, by publishing a certificate for radio amateurs. To get this, you just have to fill in a few simple criteria
Certificate rules:
Certificate « VALEUREUX LIÉGEOIS » is awarded for QSOs made between the members of the UBA-LGE section and amateurs from all over the world
- All frequencies and modes are accepted except for the QSO in portable, satellite and repeater.
- You can create a diploma for each different mode (FT8, RTTY, PSK, SSB …) and or MIXED, thus increasing the chance of having several degrees.
- Only contacts made from 1st january 2022 will be taken into account.
- This certificate is valid for all licensed radio amateurs and SWL (Short Waves Listener).
- Candidates must provide proof of having contacted and confirmed five differents members of UBA-LGE section. Call ON5VL (Valeureux Liegeois) is worth for 2 QSO.
- QSO is valid when confirmed by the correspondent.
- QSL cards are NOT required, just an extract from callbook.
- To obtain this diploma « Valeureux Liègeois », simply send a duplicate of your log that mentions the Callsign, date, time, frequency and mode and then forward it to the contact address: on5vl@on5vl.org Certificate and shipping are free (sending by e-mail)

Радиолюбительские дипломы
Диплом выдается за связи (наблюдения) с членами секции UBA-LGE после 1.01.2017 г., проведенные на любых диапазонах любыми видами модуляции, за исключением связей через спутники и репитеры.
Необходимо не менее 5 QSO, причем ON5VL (Valeureux Liegeois) засчитывается за 2 связи.
Для заявки QSL-карточки не требуются, достаточно выписки из аппаратного журнала.
